Collection Story
Origin
Molteni&C inaugurated its Heritage Collection in 2010 by signing an exclusive agreement with the Gio Ponti Archives. Through it, a curated selection of Gio Ponti designs is brought back into production; Molteni&C describes these works as exclusively reproduced in collaboration with the Archives.
Design Language
The reissues are made with remarkable fidelity to Ponti's originals, many of them conceived for his own architecture, while adopting present-day materials and the Molteni&C range of fabrics and leathers. The collection ranges from armchairs and sofas to coffee tables, desks, a rug, accessories and objects.
