&Tradition was founded in 2010 in Copenhagen as an international brand built on a Danish legacy of craftsmanship and design. Whether the starting point is a new design or a re-issue, the company aims to design "the classics of tomorrow" and to offer a curated collection of purposeful designs made to last.
Philosophy
Its Design & Production Ethics framework assesses every design on Purpose, Materials, Circularity and Footprint, favouring designs that can be disassembled, repaired and recycled. The brand works with long-standing suppliers in Europe and Asia under a Code of Conduct that requires environmental management systems such as ISO 14001.

Today
&Tradition sells furniture, lighting, objects and outdoor pieces internationally, and runs the Lille Petra café and Petra, a 40-room boutique hotel in central Copenhagen created with Copenhagen Design Hotels.
