Story
Origin
The page tells of a lounge chair first made in a traditional Danish workshop in the first half of the 20th century by the cabinetmaker Jørgen Wolff, and calls it a striking example of the 'Danish Modern' design movement. In its form the page sees the intricacies of hand-made, small-scale production: sculptural, boundary-pushing armrests join an expansive, wing-shaped backrest and rest on the finest craftsmanship.
Reissue
&Tradition reissues the chair for modern audiences, and the page's Wulff Collection block lists Wulff ATD2 beside Wulff ATD3. Neither the page nor the fact sheet names a designer: the page credits Jørgen Wolff with the first production, and the sheet's credit line reads '&Tradition'.
