Overview
Thorvald SC98 is the round outdoor dining table of the Thorvald collection, a 2024 design by Space Copenhagen. The table is meant as an invitation to pause outdoors.
Construction
A small crossbar sits under the table; it and the legs are bent. Spinning a sheet of metal forms the tabletop, which is welded together. Galvanising and powder-coating finish the steel, and the feet have plastic gliders.

Story
The round dining table
SC98 is the round dining table in the Thorvald collection, whose tabletops are solid shapes in various-sized circles and squares. Space Copenhagen designed it in 2024.
Bent frame, spun top
A bent frame with a small crossbar underneath supports a top spun from sheet metal. The steel receives a galvanised, powder-coated finish, and no biocide treatment has been used.
