Betty TK3

Overview

Betty TK3 is the upholstered version of the Betty chair by Thau & Kallio: a stackable dining chair with a form-pressed veneer backrest and an HR foam seat covered in leather or fabric. The fact sheet dates it 2020; the product page prints 2019.

Construction

Lacquered solid wood with a form-pressed veneer backrest. For superior comfort the seat is covered with HR foam and upholstery. Fitted with plastic gliders (felt optional); the page lists a linking system as an option.

A seat padded for comfort

According to the product page, TK3 is made from solid wood with a form-pressed veneer backrest, and for superior comfort the seat is covered with HR foam and upholstery. The sheet describes the model as available in a variety of fabrics, leathers and COM.

Fabric and leather

For COM the sheet gives a consumption of 60 x 60 cm of fabric or of leather for one seat, and says COM must be approved by &Tradition to ensure suitability for upholstery.
