Story
Frame and cushions apart
Cassina's page presents the idea of modernity in the grand modèle as a split between a metal load-bearing frame and the upholstered parts. In every version, from armchairs with one or two arms to the two- and three-seat sofas, the loose cushions are set inside a tubular cage.

New versions and finishes
Cassina says it develops new versions and finishes in step with Charlotte Perriand, her daughter Pernette and the Fondation Le Corbusier, so that each reinterpretation stays true to the original.
