Description
Overview
The 10 Table en tube (the page title reads "10-P Table en tube") is a glass-topped table credited to Pierre Jeanneret, Charlotte Perriand and Le Corbusier. According to the product sheet, the design dates from 1928 and Cassina's production from 1985. The product page offers two sizes, 120 x 80 x 70 cm and 140 x 140 x 70 cm.
Construction
On the page the legs are chromed tubular steel (polished finish), and the glass top can be clear, textured or cast. The crosspiece paint is offered in colours from the Le Corbusier palette: light blue, ivory, mud, grey, brown, black and green.

Story
First shown in 1929
In Cassina's account, the first version of this table was presented in Paris in 1929, at the Salon d'Automne, on the Équipement Intérieur d'une Habitation stand shown by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret.
Revisited in 1984, relaunched in 1985
The sheet says the table was first presented in its original size as a writing desk. Perriand revisited the design in 1984, and Cassina relaunched it one year afterwards with new features suited to contemporary needs. For the frame's minimalist design, the sheet points to the chrome on the tubular steel uprights and the lacquer colour of the crosspieces.
