Story
From wire experiments to stool
Across a career of experimentation and exploration, Charles and Ray Eames continually revisited and refined their ideas. Bent and welded wire experiments during the 1950s informed the Eames Wire Chair. The stool extends that material language into elevated seating. It is a light, airy form available in bar- and counter-heights, with an optional seat pad or two-piece leather bikini pad.
