Collection Story
Origin
Rombe is a wall-mounted modular shelving system by the London studio Industrial Facility, designed for &Tradition in 2025. &Tradition calls it the first shelving system in its range. The name comes from the shape of the vertical brackets: a subtle rhombus that Sam Hecht and Kim Colin did not plan but that appeared because of its robust proportions and load-bearing ability.
Design Language
Hecht describes the idea as "Sculptural Utility": storage that behaves as a system while adding to an eclectic look. The system is fixed to the wall at only four points and offers eleven core configurations.
