Rombe IF2

Overview

Construction

Top support and foot in die-cast aluminium; upright bracket in extruded aluminium; shelves in sheet steel (laser cut, bent) or oak-veneered wood-based board. The desk is wood-based board, oak or walnut veneer. Plastic gliders.

Specifications

H 223 × W 83 × D 36 cm (87 7/8 × 32 5/8 × 14 1/8 in), Desk D 49 cm (19 1/4 in). Weight 21 kg (Veneer) or 22 kg (Steel). Indoor use. Certification FSC Mix 70%; storage test EN 16121 Level 2, plus BIFMA.

Designer and year

Industrial Facility, the London studio founded in 2002 by Sam Hecht and Kim Colin, is credited under the 2025 date in both documents. The page presents the bay as a modular system built around what it calls sculptural utility.
