Brand Story
Heritage
Flexform's story began in 1959 in Brianza, in a small artisan workshop between Milan, Como and Lecco, in what would become Italy's most important furniture-making district. Founded by the Galimberti brothers, the company became a joint-stock company in 1967 and evolved from workshop to industrial enterprise. In the 1960s it worked with Joe Colombo, Cini Boeri and Rodolfo Bonetto, and it took part in the Salone del Mobile in Milan from the beginning.
Philosophy
Flexform chooses style over trend: restraint, quality and continuity. Its neutral, warm, tone-on-tone palette of beige, sand, taupe and warm grey, measured proportions and carefully selected materials express what Antonio Citterio calls "everyday elegance", with the sofa as the hub of the living space.

Iconic Works
The partnership with Antonio Citterio, begun in the 1970s, is the longest in Flexform's history and has defined its aesthetic; his designs include the Groundpiece sofa (2001). In 1985 Flexform brought the 1939 Moka collection by Asnago and Vender back into production.

Flexform is led by the third generation of the founding family and produces at a single site in Meda, at the heart of the Brianza district. It launched a permanent outdoor collection in 2019, opened its first Italian flagship store in Milan's Brera district in 2022, and in 2026 Pietro and Antonio Galimberti received the Compasso d'Oro Career Award.
