Origin
Asolo is a 2020 Flexform seating family credited to Antonio Citterio; its technical sheets are titled "ASOLO | ANTONIO CITTERIO | 2020". Flexform launched the sofa with a campaign that debuted in September, and Citterio is quoted on the 2020 collection page saying that Asolo incorporates all the know-how, experience and elegance typical of Flexform.
Design Language
Flexform says comfort was designed into the sofa from the start: generous but well-balanced proportions, couture upholstery tailoring and care over small construction details, with an informal elegance and no sharp corners. The bed is described as reflecting the same aesthetic concepts.
