Collection Story
Origin
Evergreen is a 2012 Flexform seating family credited to Antonio Citterio; the sheets are titled "EVERGREEN | ANTONIO CITTERIO | 2012". Besides the sofa, the family takes in a chaise longue and a daybed.
Design Language
Flexform says the name sums up the personality of the design: tastefully discreet, and beyond the bounds of time and fashion. A cast-metal base lifts the pieces off the floor, and seat backs and armrests of reduced thickness open outward, which Flexform says accentuates their ethereal appearance. The seat cushions rest on a metal base upholstered in cowhide.
