Description

Overview

Michel Ducaroy's Saparella footstool is the low companion piece in the modular Saparella family. Its upholstered body has no separate exposed frame or legs.

Foam and cover

Polyether at 28 kg/m³ shapes the lower body and flanks above a ventilated textile support. Two specified high-resilience Bultex densities form the upper comfort layers. The detachable cover sits over 200 g/m² polyester quilting and normally receives baguette stitching 5 mm wide.

Dimensions

Width is 780 mm and depth is 520 mm. The sitting surface rises 340 mm, total weight is 5.5 kg, and no separate overall height is stated.

Story

The low Saparella module

The footstool extends the all-foam construction of the Saparella seating pieces into a compact horizontal form. It can sit independently or accompany the fireside chair and settee.

Removable upholstery

The quilted outer layer detaches from the foam body. Ligne Roset leaves off its 5 mm decorative seam when Byram, Ella, Festa, Lhuis or Tona is chosen, distinguishing those textiles from the usual stitched treatment.
