Description

Overview

The Togo Footstool is the one-place footstool in Michel Ducaroy's Togo family for Ligne Roset. It measures W 870 x D 800 mm with a seat height of 380 mm and weighs 6 kg.

Construction

The footstool is built entirely from three densities of foam: polyether foam at 21 kg/m3 (3.2 kPa) and 28 kg/m3 (4.8 kPa), and high resilience polyurethane foam at 26 kg/m3 (1.4 kPa). Oversized polyester-quilted covers wrap the foam, and buttoned threads reinforce its elasticity.

Specifications

Ligne Roset offers it in 58 materials, from fabrics to hides. The page lists the seat as one place.

Story

Michel Ducaroy and Togo

Ligne Roset's company history credits Michel Ducaroy with Togo and places it in 1973. This footstool is one of the Togo pieces on the brand's site, where it is filed under armchairs and sits among the fireside chair, the settees, the corner seat and the composition.

Made at Briord

Ligne Roset gives Briord as the place where its furniture is made. The brand describes that workshop as one where the majority of operations are done by hand.
