Overview
The Kangaroo is a low armchair with Z-shaped sides and woven Viennese cane in the seat and backrest. Cassina lists it under Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret and describes its lines as minimalist and its materials as unpretentious.
Construction
- Frame: solid teak or solid oak; the oak and teak finishes are shown on the price list.
- Seat and back: woven Viennese cane set in the frame.

Story
A low chair from Chandigarh
The sheet presents this low armchair as part of Cassina's ongoing research into Chandigarh pieces. It was made for the city's General Hospital Hall and is also present in many private houses.
Three coplanar elements per side
Each side of the chair takes a Z shape, made from a sequence of three vaguely triangular coplanar elements placed in continuity. Seat and backrest carry the typical weaving inside the wooden frame.
