Overview
Piero Lissoni designed Floyd-Hi for Living Divani in 2018. The fixed version of the design comes in linear and elliptical forms, with armrest and back cushions set between structure and seat and a sculptural foot.
Construction
The structure of the backrest and armrests is multilayer poplar wood and double-panelled fir-wood. A steel seat chassis is sprung on non-woven coated-rubber elastic straps. Acrylic fibres cover the seat cushion, which contains a Visco-soft insert, while goose down fills the cushions of the backrest and armrests. A laser-cut steel bracket in Gunmetal grey carries brass feet.
Specifications
Seat depth is 68 cm on the sofa and 98 cm on the elliptical element. This version is not available as modular.

Cushions between structure and seat
Living Divani points to the armrest and back cushions set between the structure and the seat as one particular of Floyd-Hi. The sculptural foot, classic and hi-tech at the same time, is the other.
Linear and elliptical forms
This fixed version of Floyd-Hi is declined in linear and elliptical forms to outline domestic and contract spaces. The model is not available as modular, and the sofa and the elliptical element differ in seat depth, at 68 and 98 cm.
