Description
Overview
Saké is a sofa bed by Piero Lissoni, the only sofa bed in the B&B Italia collection. Its seating and back elements are those of the Saké sofa system, and the seat translates and the backrest tilts to make a bed.
Construction
The internal frame is a multi-layered wood panel and the support frame is steel. The seat and back are padded with shaped polyurethane in different densities, finished with a polyester fibre cover. The base is made of crosspieces with rounded steel feet connected by a bar, and the feet stand 19 cm from the ground.

225 x 113 x 69 cm (W x D x H), LSK223S and LSK223D. Cover: fabric or leather. Support frame: steel.

Saké is a strongly contemporary sofa bed that stands out for its absolute formal balance. It is the only sofa bed in the B&B Italia collection, and it is dated 2017 and credited to Piero Lissoni.
