Dambodue

Overview

Dambodue (2024, Piero Lissoni) is, according to B&B Italia, a new version with a particularly generous shape and richly upholstered back and armrests. The seat rests directly on the floor.

Construction

• Base: a bronzed nickel painted profile emphasises the seat at the floor; lower edge in aluminium extrusions, corners in die-cast aluminium
• Structure: an internal frame of steel tubes and profiles; padding foam: polyurethane, flexible and cold shaped; a polyester fibre cover is listed alongside
• Back cushion (DU55_C): polyester fibre
• Cover: fabric or leather

Comfort in a limited depth

While presenting linear geometries, the design is said to have been carefully studied for comfort and functionality. The page calls Dambodue surprisingly comfortable and cosy while keeping a seat of limited depth.
