Overview
Piero Lissoni designed the Floyd-Hi 2 System for Living Divani in 2020. It extends the Floyd-Hi 2 family into a modular sofa whose shapes develop in the space to form the chosen composition.
Construction
Backrests and armrests sit on a frame of multilayer poplar wood and double-panelled fir-wood, with polyurethane foam padding in differentiated densities. The steel seat chassis has an epoxy polyester powder coating, non-woven coated-rubber elastic straps and polyurethane foam padding. Backrest and armrest cushions are filled with pre-washed, sterilised goose down, and each foot is laser-cut steel sheet in Gunmetal grey. Brackets join the elements.
Specifications
Seat depths are 68, 134 and 154 cm. Plastic tips meet the floor.
Story
Fluid shapes that become modular
In the System, the Floyd-Hi 2 family becomes modular: fluid and reassuring shapes develop in the space to create the desired composition. The result offers solutions with great sobriety and gentle seats.
Brackets and steel feet
Brackets join the elements of the System together. Each foot is laser-cut steel sheet, and its Gunmetal grey finish is an epoxy polyester powder coating.
