Story
Designed in 1947 for Méribel
Per Cassina's page, Charlotte Perriand, whom it calls a real mountain lover, designed the Doron Hotel armchair in 1947. The page ties it to a winter sports resort and to the Hôtel Doron, which it describes as one of the first chalet-hotels.
An outdoor version
The page describes Perriand's special and profound relationship with nature, and says she looked for natural materials to use in her projects. The page adds that the armchair is comfortable, textural and pleasant to the touch, that an outdoor version exists, and that it pairs with her Table à Plateau Interchangeable.
