Construction
The tab lists a medium-height backrest for table seating, a mesh-fabric seat or welded, ribbed upholstery in fabric or leather, and a die-cast aluminium structure (side profiles, spreaders, four-star base and, where fitted, armrests) in polished, chromed or powder-coated versions.
Specifications
EA 104 (default variant): 560 mm wide, 522 mm deep, 845 mm high (the largest values printed on the drawing). EA 103: same values. EA 101: 500 mm wide front view, 522 mm and 845 mm.
Story
For the dining table
Vitra says the seat geometry of the three models is designed for comfortable dynamic sitting at a table, and calls the black powder-coated version particularly suited to leather or fabric covers in many colours.
One page, three models
The EA 101, 103 and 104 share one page; Vitra separates them by base type (fixed or swivel) and by armrests (EA 101 without, EA 103 and EA 104 with).
