Busetti Garuti Redaelli

Background

Busetti Garuti Redaelli is a design trio made up of Manuela Busetti, Andrea Garuti and Matteo Redaelli. Busetti and Garuti met as Industrial Design students at IED in Milan (the Istituto Europeo di Design), where Redaelli took his own degree in 2007. The three have worked as a team since 2008.

Signature Style

The trio describe their projects as a synthesis of their personal visions and sensibilities. They look for simple technical and formal solutions that favour the usability and legibility of the object, and they reinterpret traditional and innovative materials so that objects become discreet and gentle life companions. They describe their approach as rooted in Italy with a European flavour, owing a debt to the masters of Italian design and to the design of Continental Europe and Scandinavia.
