Description
Overview
The Sospir table lamp is a Ligne Roset design by Busetti Garuti Redaelli. White Carrara marble stands out against its black lacquered steel structure, and the form is Art Deco-inspired and pared down to the extreme.
Construction and lighting
The structure is epoxy satin black lacquered steel holding two surfaces of 10 mm thick brilliant-polished Carrara marble, each Ø 19 cm. The lower surface reflects the light emitted by the LED module through the diffuser plate beneath the upper surface. The cable is black textile and the manual switch is black. The 15.6 W LED module gives 2,070 lumens at 3,000 K (warm white); total consumption is 16.5 W.

Story
Marble and black steel
The whiteness of Carrara marble is emphasised by the black lacquered steel structure. Two marble surfaces, each 10 mm thick and brilliant-polished, sit one above the other, and the lower one reflects the light.
LED lighting in an Art Deco-inspired object
The modernity of the LED lighting serves an object that is pared down to the extreme. The black textile cable adds a domestic, sensual touch. A plug-in LED driver comes with two interchangeable plugs, Euro and US, and the same version works with both 220 V and 110 V.
