Description
Overview
The Lapel armchair is the collection's wide one-person lounge model. Its woven synthetic-resin surround curves around a loose back cushion and broad seat pad, all carried by a four-legged aluminium frame.
Construction
Carbon-coloured lacquer protects the aluminium structure. The back weave is high-density polyethylene, while the seat pad uses 24 kg/m³ polyurethane foam. Beige polyester covers the pad above a polyester liner.
Dimensions
Overall size is 890 x 840 x 900 mm (W x D x H). The seat is 440 mm high, the armchair weighs 11 kg and it provides one place.
Story
The lounge-scale Lapel
At 890 mm wide, the armchair is substantially broader and deeper than the collection's dining chair. Its high curved surround extends forward as arms, while a loose rectangular cushion supports the back.
Woven outdoor shell
Synthetic resin creates the continuous woven band around the aluminium frame. The foam seat and loose cushion soften that shell, with beige textile set against the carbon-coloured base and uprights.
