Description
Overview
Lapel is an outdoor dining table by Busetti Garuti Redaelli. Its rectangular top is formed from parallel slats of natural solid teak, set over a slim carbon-coloured frame. The four round legs sit close to the corners of the top.
Materials
The base structure is aluminium with a carbon-coloured lacquer finish. The top uses untreated natural solid teak slats, with open joints between them.
Dimensions
The table measures 2,000 x 900 x 750 mm (W x D x H) and weighs 48 kg.
Story
A table for the Lapel family
The dining table extends Lapel beyond its woven outdoor chairs. Its dark aluminium frame follows the collection's carbon-coloured structure, while the natural teak top introduces a contrasting timber surface.
Slatted top and light frame
The 2,000 mm-long top is divided into broad teak slats. Four round legs and a restrained perimeter frame support it without repeating the woven backs of the seats.
