Description
Overview
The Lapel chair by Busetti Garuti Redaelli is the armless dining-height model in Ligne Roset's outdoor family. A woven back wraps around the sitter while four slender legs support the padded seat.
Materials
Its aluminium structure carries a carbon-coloured lacquer. High-density polyethylene synthetic resin forms the woven back, and the 36 kg/m³ polyurethane seat pad is upholstered in beige polyester fabric over a polyester liner.
Dimensions
The chair measures 620 x 570 x 760 mm (W x D x H). Seat height is 515 mm, capacity is one person and weight is 7 kg.
Story
An armless Lapel profile
The dining chair uses the family's collar-like woven back without the enclosed cushion and scale of the armchair. Its open sides and 620 mm width distinguish it from the broader 890 mm lounge model.
Outdoor upholstery
The seat cushion combines dense polyurethane foam, a polyester under-cover and a beige polyester outer textile. Ligne Roset recommends sheltering cushions over winter to reduce moisture absorption.
