Brand Story
Heritage
Tacchini has been creating furniture and accessories since 1967. It was founded by Antonio Tacchini in Seveso, in the Brianza district, and began as a carpentry workshop before growing into an international brand that the company describes as a benchmark of Made in Italy.
Philosophy
Craftsmanship, continuous innovation, uncompromising quality, meticulous attention to materials and respect for people and the environment remain the company's founding values. Tacchini sees style as "an attitude of the spirit and an approach to work", and it relies on the local resources and savoir-faire of Brianza. Its environmental management system is ISO 14001 certified.

Iconic Works
About a decade after Giusi Tacchini joined in the early 2000s, the relaunch of the Babela chair (Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, 1958) opened the company's programme of re-editions. The catalogue now pairs reissued icons such as Gianfranco Frattini's Sesann sofa, Joe Colombo's Additional System, Gastone Rinaldi's Orsola armchair and Cini Boeri's Tako with new work by designers including Studiopepe.

Today
Giusi Tacchini leads the company as CEO and Creative Director, researching design history "like an archaeologist". In 2022 Tacchini launched the Tacchini Flock project with Formafantasma, replacing industrial foam with sheep wool in some iconic models.
