Brand Story

Heritage

Arper was founded in 1989 in Monastier di Treviso, Italy. It describes itself as a fast-growing, family-owned and independently run company that has grown from a furniture manufacturing business into an international design presence, with its headquarters and showroom still in Monastier di Treviso.

Philosophy

Arper calls itself a global design brand that envisions products for the ways we live. Its vision is "a beautiful, vital world" and its mission is to create spaces and solutions that shape the Project of Living. The company names five values — Responsibility, Care, Openness, Imagination and Courage — and a design approach that is problem-solving, essential, inclusive, versatile and life-centered. Modularity is core to its systems, which are designed for easy assembly and disassembly for maintenance, reuse and recycling.
