Overview
The Solaria low armchair is the outdoor lounge chair that Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba drew for the Solaria range, offered with or without armrests.
Construction
The base is cast aluminium; the frame and armrests are stainless steel, and all metal elements are powder coated. The rope weave on the backrest, armrests and seat is colour-matched to the metal finish. A removable seat cushion cover is available, with the cushion attached to the weave by powder-coated aluminium frog fastenings.
Specifications
Code 5667111 is drawn with the values 70, 79 and 86 cm as overall values (axes not labelled on the drawing).
Story
A lounge chair in two versions
The page names the Solaria outdoor lounge chair as a version available with or without armrests, and the sheet lists it as the low-back counterpart of the high armchair. Poltrona Frau lists it inside the Solaria range.
Weave matched to the metal
Poltrona Frau says the rope weave is colour-matched to the powder-coated metal, a point it repeats for the frog fastenings of the optional cushion, which are coated to match the frame colour.
