Solaria Rectangular Table

Overview

Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba designed the Solaria Rectangular Table for outdoor use. It takes the natural world as its inspiration, and its top of slats, in solid teak or glazed stoneware, has a warm, textured feel.

Construction

• Frame: a support frame beneath the top, made of stainless steel tube and powder coated in Chalk or Basalt
• Legs: four cast aluminium legs, powder coated like the frame and set straight into it
• Teak: solid teak slats of differing widths, left in their natural, untreated finish
• Stoneware: glazed slabs in Pale Brown or Pale Green
• Water: a 7 mm space between neighbouring slats or slabs lets water and moisture run off
• Finishing details: adjustable plastic caps, and a Poltrona Frau logo plaque in polished stainless steel on one leg crossbeam

Dining outdoors

With this table the Solaria collection moves into the dining area. Poltrona Frau gives it a design that draws on the natural world, a slatted top and finely painted frames that add refinement.

Wood or stoneware

The top is either teak in its natural finish or glazed stoneware in a choice of colours, and the wood is FSC 100% certified. Slats and slabs are spaced so that water and moisture can escape.
