Solaria Round Table

Overview

At Ø 180 cm, the Solaria Round Table is the circular outdoor table of Ludovica Serafini + Roberto Palomba. The natural world inspired it, and the slatted top, in solid teak or glazed stoneware, carries a warm, textured feel.

Construction

• Teak top: slats of varied widths in a natural, untreated finish; it can be made with a central hole of Ø 6.5 cm to take a parasol pole, or without one
• Stoneware top: Pale Brown or Pale Green glazed slabs, made without a hole
• Joints: 7 mm gaps between the elements drain water and moisture
• Structure: tubular stainless steel under the top, powder coated in Chalk or Basalt, with four cast aluminium legs fitted directly into it
• Feet and plate: adjustable plastic caps; a polished stainless steel plate bearing the Poltrona Frau logo is fixed to a crossbeam

A round slatted table

The slatted top of the Solaria collection takes a circular form here, a diameter of 180 cm. The inspiration is the natural world, the finish of the frames is fine paint, and the result is a table with a warm, textured feel.

Parasol hole

Only the teak top offers the central hole for a parasol pole; the glazed stoneware top has none. The teak is FSC 100% certified, and narrow gaps between the elements let water and moisture drain.
