Echoo System

Overview

Echoo System is a 2025 modular sofa from Piero Lissoni for Living Divani. Its configurations are fluid, modular and dynamic, and they are meant to evolve with the surroundings.

Construction

The modular elements have a structure of poplar plywood, fir wood and chipboard and a steel seat frame with an epoxy polyester powder coat. Cross-woven elastic straps made of coated rubber form the seat suspension. Brackets join the elements together. The Ø15 mm steel tube feet are screwed to the seat frame via a bushing and carry a Gunmetal grey powder coat; adjustable plastic tips in black touch the floor.

Specifications

The armrest and backrest cushions have differentiated-density polyurethane foam wrapped in a goose-down mattress pad. Fabric or leather covers can be taken off entirely.

Configurations that evolve with the surroundings

Piero Lissoni designed Echoo System in 2025 as a set of modular elements that combine into fluid, dynamic arrangements. The upholstery is fabric or leather and comes off fully.

Structure under the cushions

Beneath the padding sit a frame of poplar plywood, fir wood and chipboard and a steel seat frame, and brackets connect one element to the next. The steel feet are finished in Gunmetal grey.
