Overview
Echoo is a 2024 sofa by Piero Lissoni for Living Divani. Its shell encompasses the entire sofa to contain it and also envelops the cushions, creating a harmonious ensemble.
Construction
The structure combines chipboard, fir wood and poplar plywood, and the seat frame is steel finished with epoxy polyester powder. Coated-rubber elastic straps woven crosswise support the seat. The feet are tubular steel of Ø15 mm in Gunmetal grey, fixed to the seat frame through a bushing, and floor support comes from adjustable plastic tips in black.
Specifications
The sofas have a seat depth of 69 cm. Covers in fabric or leather are removable in full, closed with zippers and Velcro.
Story
A shell that holds the cushions
Echoo wraps its shell around the entire sofa and draws the cushions into it, so that the whole reads as a harmonious ensemble. Piero Lissoni designed it for Living Divani in 2024.
Wood, steel and goose down
Wood and chipboard form the frame, and the seat frame is steel. The armrest and backrest cushions are filled with goose down.
