Description
Overview
The DUO Low Table is a coffee table drawn by Roberto Lazzeroni. Its legs and the frame around the top are solid ash, and the top is let in flush with that frame.
Construction
- Legs and top frame: solid ash, stained wenge or moka
- Top: poplar plywood veneered in ash to match the frame, or semi-gloss Calacatta marble, or back-painted glass
- Metal: painted metal in shaded bronze trims the uprights and the spacers under the top
Specifications
- Marble top: a lightened slab 8 mm thick, surface-treated against water and backed with honeycomb aluminium
- Glass top: five colours
Story
A flush top in a solid-ash frame
The DUO Low Table belongs to the DUO collection. Solid ash forms its legs and the frame that surrounds the top, and the top is set level with that frame.
Ash veneer, marble or glass
The top can be ash-veneered poplar plywood in the frame's own finish, semi-gloss Calacatta marble, or back-painted glass. A marble top is a lightened slab with a protective water-repellent surface, strengthened underneath by honeycomb aluminium. Painted metal in a shaded bronze tone covers the spacers and the upper ends of the uprights.
