Duo Bed

Overview

The DUO bed is a 2025 design by Roberto Lazzeroni, part of DUO, the collection shared by Poltrona Frau and Ceccotti Collezioni. The page selects the king-size version (mattress 193 x 203 cm) and gives the SKU 5PF0073000001. A suspended, padded headboard extends beyond the frame and carries removable decorative quilting.

Construction

The base is made of struts in lime or tulipwood with a light layer of padding. The headboard is Polimex and birch plywood, padded in polyurethane foam with polyester wadding. The cylindrical legs, 10 cm in diameter, are aluminium covered in Pelle Frau leather; solid ash feet are an option. The covering is ColorSphere or Nest leather.

A bed that echoes the collection

Poltrona Frau says the bed reinterprets distinctive elements of the DUO collection, such as the curved lines of the chair and side legs in an inverted L shape that recall the furniture and the side table. The result is described as an elegant bed with a strong personality and a pronounced horizontal presence.

Matelassé headboard

The headboard design is inspired by the craftsmanship that made Poltrona Frau famous and by the leatherwork of luxury brands, and the slim profile of the bed is adorned with a decorative bevelled edge.
