Duo Sofa

Overview

The DUO sofa is the upholstered sofa of the DUO Collection, which Roberto Lazzeroni designed for Poltrona Frau together with Ceccotti Collezioni. The page offers a two-seater and a three-seater, and the product sheet adds a "large" two-seater and curved modules that form rounded configurations.

Construction

Birch plywood backrest and seat structure, rigid polyurethane side panels, flexible polyurethane foam and cut polyurethane padding, elastic belt seat suspension, goose-down back cushions with a hidden zip, and cylindrical black anodised aluminium feet.

• Feet: cylindrical Ø60 mm black anodised aluminium, or knife-shaped satin-burnished aluminium at a surcharge
• Upholstery: Pelle Frau® leather, fabric or a leather and fabric combination, with tone-on-tone stitching

Two companies, one collection

Poltrona Frau and Ceccotti Collezioni co-sign the DUO Collection, which the page presents as the expression of a shared design vision. The collection, all designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, joins luxury upholstered furniture with rounded shapes and wooden furniture for the living room, and the page links it to the Italian-style Dolce Vita and to romanticism and timeless charm.

Soft lines

The product sheet calls the sofa cosy and sinuous and says its soft lines are a nod to the romanticism of Art Deco, while the flexible plywood structure, the recyclable materials and the production technology express its contemporary side. Every version is meant to encourage sociability and the pleasure of sharing.
