Description
Overview
The DUO Bookcase is a freestanding bookcase by Roberto Lazzeroni for the DUO collection. Two opposing uprights, one at the front and one set back from the shelves, give the whole design its character.
Construction
- Frame: solid ash with two stain choices, wenge and moka
- Shelves: ash-veneered poplar plywood panels inside solid-ash frames
- Metal details: shaded bronze painted metal on the spacers that lift the shelves and on the tops of the uprights
- Shelf count: the 160 cm high version takes up to four shelves

Story
Staggered uprights
The bookcase is built from staggered uprights and shelves. Of its two opposing uprights, one is at the front and the other is recessed compared to the shelves.
Raised shelves
The structure and the shelf frames are solid ash. Spacers hold the shelves above the structure, and the upper ends of the uprights and the spacers share the same painted metal in a shaded bronze finish.
