Brand Story
Heritage
Audo Copenhagen was launched on 1 June 2023 by uniting two Danish design brands, MENU and by Lassen. The name comes from The Audo, the Copenhagen concept space that opened in 2019 under MENU, combining coworking and event facilities, a café, restaurant, concept shop and residence. With the merger The Audo was rebranded as Audo House, the brand's home and headquarters. Design Holding had acquired both MENU and by Lassen in May 2022, and Audo Copenhagen joined the group's portfolio alongside Flos, B&B Italia and Louis Poulsen.
Philosophy
Audo describes itself as bringing together a century of Danish design values with a global outlook. Its furniture, lighting and objects are shaped by quality, purpose and an ethos of soft minimalism, with feeling — comfort, belonging, connection — at the foundation of everything it creates. Collaboration with designers is central: they work as close creative partners rather than contributors at arm's length.

The catalogue holds icons such as the Kubus collection by architect Mogens Lassen and The Tired Man by Flemming Lassen, designs by Ib Kofod-Larsen and Vilhelm Lauritzen, and contemporary pieces such as the Plinth collection by Norm Architects and the Afteroom chairs by Afteroom Studio.
