Collection Story
Origin
Audo describes The Penguin Chair as a mid-century bestseller by Ib Kofod-Larsen and says it was first introduced in 1953. The collection name comes from the characteristic flipper-like projections at the sides of the chair backs.
Design language
Across the collection, large curved seat and back surfaces are balanced by carefully proportioned supports. Audo emphasises elegant silhouettes, organic lines and comfort shaped around the sitter.
Key pieces
The current Audo collection connects dining, lounge, rocking and wooden lounge interpretations. Each linked product retains its own frame construction, dimensions, finish choices and current price.
