Collection Story

Origin

Audo dates the ML 42 design to 1942. Mogens Lassen looked to traditional shoemakers' stools when developing a light three-legged seat; the low version first appeared in a museum furniture exhibition that year.

Three heights

Audo's bar-stool page presents ML 42 in three heights. Each version uses a moulded seat and tripod-like legs; the counter and bar versions add a metal foot bar.

Materials

The official family text names black-stained beech, soap-treated oak and brown-oiled oak. The low Stool and the taller Bar Stool retain their own measurements and configuration records.
