Story
A wire shell on a rod base
Vitra describes the DKR as the Wire Chair shell mounted on the base it calls the Eiffel Tower base, and says the combination joins transparency and functionality. The shell takes its outline from the Eames Plastic Side Chair.
Bare, padded or outdoors
On the page the chair can stay bare, gain a cushion on the seat, or take the two-part pad. The powder-coated version is the one the page says is suited to garden and terrace.
