Story
Art and design in balance
Cassina describes the shapes as familiar yet not at all, balancing between art and design. Side Table No.2 looks very different when viewed from different angles.
A question of form
The table is a design meant to puzzle our understanding of shape, form and function. Its heavy-looking top meets the rigid trestles at joints where the top gives in to receive their sharp ends.
