Overview
Bon is a stool by Aldo Bakker, dated 2017, in the Karakter x Cassina range. Two forms meet in it, a deep vertical shape below and a flat horizontal shape that forms the seat, and the stool is part of the Karakter x Cassina collection.

Story
A rework of the Pink Stool
Bon reworks Aldo Bakker's Pink Stool in urushi lacquer from 2015, here in stained ash or mahogany. The result expresses Bakker's refined sense of serenity in form and materiality.
Contrasting forms
Two container shapes make up the stool: an upright, deep vertical shape and a flat horizontal shape that defines the seating. Cassina describes the pairing as contrasting forms with a unique harmony.
