Story
Formal balance
Cassina places the Principal Stool in the Principal series designed by Bodil Kjaer in 1961. The stool carries the formal balance that defines the entire collection.
Curves and structure
The seat curves soften the linear geometry of the wooden structure. Proportions and details recur across the pieces of the series. Cassina builds the stool on an ashwood or American walnut structure and upholsters the seat in leather or fabric.
