Construction
- Cast-aluminum base with abrasion- and weather-resistant Rilsan finish
- Solid, nonporous, weather-resistant quartz top (Vetro Bianco) with a beveled edge
- Stainless steel hardware

Story
Taking the pedestal table outdoors
Knoll's page says the all-weather hardware and materials ready the classic Saarinen table for a life outside, and the shop heads its description "Suitable for outdoor use".
The top
The tabletop is Vetro Bianco, an engineered, resin-free quartz that Knoll's sheet calls nonporous, stain proof and extremely durable for indoor and outdoor use. The 42 inch dining table can also be ordered with a slate top.
