Overview
The Saarinen Executive Stool is the bar and counter height version of Eero Saarinen's Executive chair, added to the Saarinen Executive Collection after the 1950 chair and sold in two heights.

Construction
- Molded reinforced polyurethane shell with a contoured plywood seat
- Solid steam-bent oak legs with a clear or stained finish
- Polished aluminum or black foot cap; nylon glides
- Covered in fabric, suede or leather

Story
An addition to the Executive line
Knoll's page says the Executive Collection was extended with bar and counter height stools. The shop notes that the chair was introduced in 1950 and that the collection was later expanded to include a stool.
From offices to dining rooms
The shop adds that Saarinen Executive seating is now just as likely to be found in dining rooms as in offices.
