Description
Cube and cylinder formats
Rockwell Unscripted Upholstered Seats comprise a low cube and cylinders in low, counter and bar heights. The low cylinder is 15 inches in diameter and 18 inches high; taller cylinders reach 24 and 30 inches. Fixed glides and a 360-degree swivel base are available.

Layered seat construction
Knoll specifies a plywood frame, high-density foam and a polyester-fibre top layer. The upholstery programme includes the ten base fabric colours, other KnollTextiles fabrics and Spinneybeck leathers, with an optional serged stitch at the seat.
Story
Four points of use
The cube is intended for low or standard-height tables, while the three cylinder heights correspond to different table levels. The shapes share pinch-pleat seams and an optional edge stitch with other upholstered pieces in the range. David Rockwell designed the seat formats; fixed glides and a 360-degree swivel base are available for the cube and cylinders.
