Frame and base choices
Hardwood engineering, plywood and rubber webbing create the frame and suspension. Foam and polyester fibre form the padding. Buyers can select detachable solid legs or a wire support, plus split upholstery and a serged seat edge.
Story
A distinct high-back member
The High Back Lounge Chair combines a single-seat form with an elevated back and the curved contact points named by Knoll. Its awards list names Interior Design's HiP honour and #Metropolislikes, both at NeoCon in 2016. David Rockwell receives the design credit, and the chair is offered with either detachable solid legs or a steel wire base. Both base versions share the same published overall dimensions and seat height.
