Description
Three heights
Knoll makes the Easy Stool at 16-inch standard, 24-inch counter and 30-inch bar heights. Each version has a 15-inch square footprint. A capsule-shaped handhold is cut into the seat so the stool can be lifted and moved.

Seat and base
The seat is nine-ply birch plywood with a clear coat, and the aluminium base receives a painted finish. A seat pad is optional in the first fourteen colours of KnollTextiles Crossroad. No single photographed configuration is assigned stored dimensions.
Story
A movable perch
The Easy Stool is defined by portability and three table-related heights rather than an upholstered lounge structure. The integrated opening supplies the handhold, while the optional pad adds cushioning to the plywood seat. Knoll pairs a 2016 NeoCon HiP distinction with #Metropolislikes in its awards list. David Rockwell is credited for the compact movable form within the wider Rockwell Unscripted programme.
